Owner and engineer Ed Lewis is the driving force behind Giant Wafer Studios. Ed started out playing bass in various bands but got sick of the politics so decided to start recording himself on a 4 track cassette deck. This was the spark that ignited his love for recording and the desire to build an inspiring recording studio.

During the building of the studio which Ed has mostly carried out himself he spent a few years recording bands on location in their rehearsal spaces, houses and other less than ideal spaces! Since the studio has finished there has been a steady flow of clients with varying musical styles, everything from yoga relaxation techniques to metal and pretty much everything in between!

Now with over 12 years of experience Ed will help you get whatever you want from your visit, whether as main engineer, assistant or just popping in to re-solder that one crackly cable!
